منبع نور LED برای فراهم کردن نور و روشنایی در جراحی های کم تهاجمی استفاده می شود. استفاده از فناوری LED نیاز به تعویض لامپ در منبع نور را از بین می برد و هزینه نگهداری مادام العمر و ضایعات محیطی را کاهش می دهد. طراحی منبع نور با فناوری Safelightتلسکوپ های سازگار است که به کاربران این امکان را می دهد که زمانی که دوربین از کابل نور جدا می شود، منبع نور را در حالت آماده به کار قرار دهند. بعبارت دیگر با جدا کردن کابل نور سرد از تلسکوپ، جریان ورود نور به تلسکوپ قطع می شود. به طور کلی، این ویژگی ایمنی برای کمک به کاهش خطر سوختگی و آتش سوزی در پایان عمل یا حین عمل هنگام تغییر تلسکوپ ها طراحی شده است.

LED light source is indicated for use to provide real-time endoscopic visibility. The use of LED technology eliminates the need to change a light bulb, reducing lifetime ownership cost and environmental waste. The light source design is compatible with Stryker’s Safelight scope-sensing technology which gives users the ability to put the light source into standby mode when the scope is disconnected from the light cable. Overall, this safety feature is designed to help reduce the intra-operative risk of patient burns and drape fires when changing scopes
